First monthly round up since restarting the blog! Woohoo!
July was a very light addition month for me outside of the BreyerFest Haul. Since they've already been featured in their own post, I won't be covering them here. I also had a few horses arrive at the end of May and in June, and since I haven't done one of these in a long while, I went ahead and included them.
First up are the last minute May additions - I was lucky enough to be drawn for Machu Picchu, and I threw a few blind bags in as a ride along. Unfortunately, all three blind bags were the same. So the two other G2 Clydesdales will be offered to my friends first, and then will find their way to my sales bin with the rest of the duplicates.
Machu Picchu is the most recent release in the Exotics Destinations Web Special Series, and he is stunning. Done in a glossy dappled black on the Peruvian Paso mold, he has little details like mapping on his face marking and a subtle shimmer. Personally, I think he's one of the nicest paint jobs Breyer has put out since the Connoisseur series. Brava to Sommer Prosser for designing him!
The beginning of June brought a grail to me - Appaloosa Valerio! He was the last Valerio I needed, and luckily a friend pointed me toward an ad where he was in my budget. I snapped him up so fast! He arrived just in time to go to the Big Orange Bash, where he immediately NANed in both breed and collectability. I foresee a great show career in his future!
One of the most fun parts of attending model horse shows is getting to see your friends. A perk of this is getting to pick up models in person! At the Big Orange Bash, I stayed in an Airbnb with a few of my friends and picked up these from them. The Saddlebred keychain is new to the collection, and the other three are upgrades for models I already have.
June brought the first release of the 2025 Premier Club, Cosimo, and the third release of the 2025 Stablemates Club, Spencer. The 2025 Premier Club lineup is stacked, and I was under the impression when the models were revealed last year that Cosimo would be my least favorite of the three. Cue me falling in love with the sculpt as soon as I opened him. His color is so soft, and the dapples are subtle on my copy. I'm not immediately searching for the glossy version as I will be picky about him, but he's definitely an unexpected conga!

| ...and in package! |
I was scrolling Instagram one day when I saw a story post of a new Atlanta Stablemate. I messaged the original poster, and then immediately dropped a screenshot in a group chat, where one of my friends found a link to buy them. She was commissioned by the Hambletonian Society to give away with children's tickets at the 100th running of the Hambletonian. I quickly arranged a group order with some of my friends, alerted a few other die-hard mini collectors, and waited for the rest of the model horse community to discover them, which they did right before BreyerFest. It'll be interesting to see if Breyer has a number produced for these guys, or if they'll show up on the Breyer website like Foiled Again did. I personally bought two for myself, one to show and one to keep in package.
Sneaking in at the last second, we have my Shindigs from BreyerFest! A friend purchased these on my behalf in exchange for me doing her in person pickups for her. No deco here unfortunately. With a 75 piece count, it might be a while before I find one.
When I met up with my friend, we stopped at a local tack shop that carries Breyers. I'm trying to be good, so I just picked up this regular run set I've been missing, and a set of the new Mini Whinnies blind boxes. I collect the Mini Whinnies chases more casually than I do the Stablemates, but alas adding another one was not in the cards this time!
